Employment Opportunity – Program Manager (SBD144, 118 – SBD159, 856 per annum)

The Australian High Commission (AHC) is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill a Program Manager Position at the Australian High Commission aid program. 

Selection criteria

  1. Demonstrated ability to manage projects, finances and contracts
  2. Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English and Pidgin
  3. Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships
  4. Sound level of initiative, flexibility and judgment, and well developed problem solving capabilities
  5. Ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines, achieve results and produce work of a high quality
  6. Ability to work in a multicultural team, take responsibility for delivering on assigned work roles and coaching others
  7. A relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised, high quality institution.

Applications must include:

  • Current CV with details of experience and evidence of a relevant tertiary qualification
  • 1-2 page Statement addressing the selection criteria above
  • Names and contact details of two work-related referees

The position is full-time ongoing and attracts housing safety net of SBD20, 000 per annum.

The High Commission will be open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Fridays except for public holidays.
